This policy explains how the Staffer mobile app, the Staffer websites and related services (the “Service”) collect, use, store, share and delete personal data.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by TheStaffer. For privacy questions and to exercise your rights, write to support@thestaffer.tech.
2. Who this applies to
The policy applies to job seekers, workers and other users who register, verify their identity, look for shifts, apply, work shifts or use other features. The Service is intended for adults. - Addresses and location: saved work addresses and their coordinates, and precise device location when you grant permission and use address search, the map, nearby shifts or shift tracking.
- Photos and files: profile photo, document images and attachments you upload. We ask for camera or photo-library access only when you choose the related feature.

- Local security: the app can keep session data and a PIN on your device. Biometric checks are performed by your device’s operating system; Staffer does not receive or store your biometric template.
4. How we use data
We use data to create and protect your account, verify identity, show suitable shifts and addresses, process applications, organize shifts and payouts, send service notifications, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, fix errors and improve the Service, and comply with the law. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertising networks. The app does not use an advertising identifier for targeted ads.
5. Who we share data with
Only as needed for these purposes: organizations, clients or employers connected to a shift or application you choose; providers of cloud hosting, file storage, technical support, SMS and push notifications; map and geolocation providers; organizations involved in identity verification, accounting and payouts; authorities and other parties where required by law; and a successor in a reorganization or transfer of the business.
6. International processing
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires, we apply the safeguards it prescribes for such transfers.
7. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and the data is needed to run the Service. After your account is deleted we delete or anonymize data, except what we must or are entitled to keep for legal obligations, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention or protection of rights.
8. Deleting your account and data
You can ask us to delete your account and related personal data. The Account deletion page explains the steps.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law you may have the right to access your data and get a copy, correct it, withdraw consent, restrict or object to processing, request deletion or portability, and complain to a supervisory authority. Write to support@thestaffer.tech; we may ask you to confirm your identity.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including access control, encrypted data transfer, protected storage of session data on the device, logging and controlled access to production systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Please protect your device, PIN and verification codes.
11. Device permissions
The app may ask for: camera and photo library (profile photo and documents); precise and approximate location (addresses, map, nearby shifts, shift features); notifications; biometric authentication (local sign-in protection); and the microphone only if you choose a feature that records video or other media with sound. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
